Help needed to fix set up problems

Yesterday I set up a tennis booking account for the Turner Tennis Club and I have some issues that I was wondering whether you would be able to assist with.

  1. When trying to set up the opening times, I put 11:00 instead of 23:00. I changed it, but the booking sheet didn’t reflect the changes after the update. Is there anything else I can do to correct this.
  2. When I navigate between pages I keep getting a pop up advising of secure and non secure items. I have changed the security setting in my browser to prevent this, but if going “public”, is there an easier way to prevent this.
  3. Can I default to the booking page, instead of defaulting to the home page when navigating to the site.

Other than these issues, the facility looks great and thanks for providing this type of much needed service for small clubs that would otherwise not have the resources to set this up.

hi val

i had noticed your setup. there are a couple of small issues you need to attend to.

you inadvertently created a couple of sets of opening hours which was causing problems - i have deleted these extras

you have created special opening hours in each resource - this is not necessary unless one of the resources (tennis courts) has special opening times which differ from your ordinary opening  hours. to fix...

control panel > Trader Set Up > Bookable Resources

then click on each of the resources listed and remove the hours that are listed. this is only needed if the opening hours are different from the basic  opening hours. update each record in turn.

to link directly to your booking page, link to the following address in your current website.

http://www.smartspace.ws/bookacourt/720

this will take them to the current day in your booking sheet.

we need to look at the secure page issue. the problem lies with google and the fact they do not provide a secure version of their ads. this is not a problem with the paid version as there are no ads.

i will look at providing non secure links to these pages which would also fix the problem
