The completion of the main Smart Space project is now in sight. With the upgrade to Beta 0.4, I have now provided substantial tools in the following areas.

While there are still many more features to be added before I get close to the end of my list (and start moving on to other peoples lists), I only have two areas where any substantial work needs to be done before launch.
Work has been started in both these areas, but more needs to be done before I take the program out of its Beta phase. This is likely to happen sometime in the next four weeks.
I will admit to being relieved at this prospect as I have been working on different versions of this program for almost 10 years. The best decision I made was 10 months ago when i decided to totally scrap my stand alone software and bring the whole project On-line.
This was a big decision as, at that stage, I had a perfectly good software program. The main problem, which is now solved with the new system, was one of implementation.
The new web based application provides far more flexibility and now brings the customer further into the system which has benefits for customers and traders alike. If you want to try the system as a staff person or just a user, you can now log in to my demonstration site here. (Opens in new window)
As always, I welcome feedback, and I am very responsive to suggestions. I am always looking to improve the efficiency of the system. Another benefit of being on-line, is that improvements can be made at will, with little or usually no effort on the part of the users of the software.
The only things that businesses need to use Smart Space is a computer linked to the internet with a broadband connection and an attitude to want their business to be better. If you fit into that category, you should start trying Smart Space now!
