Reservation System Now Active

The Smart Space Reservation System is now up and running. Traders can attach a reservation list to any program, service or event for a wide range of purposes.

Basic Features
The Reservation engine enables the user the customise the system to handle a variety of functions. Basic features include:

• Options to be able to use differing processing terminology
• Optional Start and finish messages
• Presetting the opening and closing dates (and time) of reservation
• Require additional information from customer also optional
• Enable express processing
• Require agreement to rules/ conditions optional
• Require payment optional
• Easy transfer of reservations into booking groups
• Other processing functions
• Staff entry overrides conditions for ordinary customers
• May 2011 - incorporate questionaire into nomination process
• Allow nominations to mulitple events in the one process
• Greater functionality to provide different entry options

System Procedure
It only takes a couple of minutes to set up a Reservation record once the Program Instance is created.
Set your Reservation preferences

• The link automatically attaches to the instance record on the What's On page and Front page summary
• Any pre set conditions are automatically handled
• When any specified quotas are met, customers are automatically advised and placed on a waiting list if they wish

Process all reservations

• Create new Booking Groups and attach specified customers
• Send to existing Booking groups
• Auotmatically send to listed divisions
• Manage and edit nomination options in the nomination interface
• Simply mark as processed
• Delete or retain as an archive

Event Entry

• Set Closing time for entries
• Specify payment as a condition of entry
• Easily process all entries into appropriate divisions

Program Nominations

• Staff or customers can progressively enter their nomination into the next competition
• Progressively process nominations and change messages to suit progress

Ticketing

• Sell securely online
• Easily record attendance

Attendance/Participation

• Easily record impending attendance or non attendance
• Saves staff communications time
• Easy for patrons - takes seconds for them

• Record patrons interest in an event program or service
• Follow up in a variety of ways, later
• Use as a record for future promotions/planning
