Smart Space 0.7 Now Available

Smart Space Beta 0.7 has now been uploaded and contains many improvements and new features. In addition to the features detailed in a previous post , I have added or extended the following:

• Booking Individuals is now easier and more functional
• Prices are now fully functional for all Bookings
  • Calculates the price of a  booking
  • Calculates how much each participant should pay using the Booking Attendance record to do so.
  • Allows for membership and vouchers (where recorded)
  • The system can price discounted Multi Unit hire (eg 1/2 hour = $11, 1 hour = $20)
• You can also require payment by remote users
  • Smart Space now integrates with Pay Pal to ensure safe and secure processing with a minimum of fuss and cost
  • Create and Verify your Pay Pal account using your own Credit Card and record your preferences in Smart Space and You can then collect money safely, on line.
  • All transactions are placed into your Smart Space account record
• Prices can now be attached to all products, programs services and resources
• Specials can now be easily catered for
• Several minor bugs have been attended to
• You can now navigate all Booking Groups in the one Program Instance without leaving the same window

Many minor typos and layout issues have been attended to in this rewrite. This goes with improved navigation in many of the Control Panel modules. In most modules, all Menu selections for that module are now available on each page of the module, making it far easier to navigate.

Smart Space now only requires some tidy up to have all modules functional to at least a basic level. The main tasks yet to be completed are:

• Tidy up the Message Centre
• Complete the Accounts Package
• Fix up the User functions
• Enable the Smart Space forums
