Smartspace is the website platform that allows graphic designers to produce just about any concept within a configurable framework. It means that both designer and client can manage their website easily, adding content as necessary and making changes where required.

Smartspace is a true business website, with a basic business package including a fully functional customer database, and bulk email system. Also, you can add other business modules that will integrate right into your website without hassle.

With smartspace, designers only need to worry about the design, as we take care of all the technical aspectsof the site, including  domain name and email set up and training and support of the website for the client.

How It Works

All smartspace websites are hosted on the smartspace server, so you only pay one annual subscription fee after the initial setup fee. The website itself has three main components:

1. Mysql Database where eveything on your website is stored
   • Content - text and images
   • Customer details
   • Other business and website configuration details
   • Website framework details
2. Content  and Framework Manager
   • Create virtually unlimited content and more content categories than you will ever need
   • Create menus and special features
   • Manage the positioning of the content on the website using the numerous  widgets  which are available and using the id's of your user generated content
   • Manage all the other modules which you have added to your system
3. Framework drivers and CSS stylesheet
   • We attach the right framework code to your design for it to work as you want.
   • We attach your own specialised stylesheet to the whole package to get the exact look you want

How To Get Started

Start off by registering your website:

• At smartspacehq.com (or any other smartspace website with a smartspace bar) click on the Join/Register link and select the Register a Smartspace website option and proceed
  • Fill out the website and business details
  • Select a package and or some modules
  • Complete your global site details if you are serious about proceeding with the website

• Upon receipt of payment for setup, we set your domain name and emails (dns)
• Once we recieve your website concept we attach the correct website framework to your website and complete the first draft of the style sheet (We currently have the offer of free stylesheet development)
  
  • Depending on the complexity of the site, we may provide some specific instructions that may be needed to achieve the desired result
  • You write the content and upload your graphics and images
  • We provide all necessary support to the design team during this setup phase
• When the website is nearing completion we finalise ths stylesheet and any other issues which may be  current
• When the annual subscription fee is paid, you can publish the website
